Softball Recap: Midtown Knights vs. Pace Academy Knights
After flying high against Jackson last Tuesday, Midtown came back down to earth. The Midtown Knights came up short against the Pace Academy Knights on Monday, falling 15-3. It was the first time this season that Midtown let down their fans at home.
The defeat snapped Midtown's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-3 record. As for Pace Academy, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.
Midtown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pace Academy, they and Mays are set to duel on Tuesday. Pace Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.6 runs per game this season.
