Basketball Recap: Arkansas Takes a Loss

Arkansas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 50-29 to the Hot Springs Trojans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 50-29 loss last Monday.

Arkansas' defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Hot Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-22.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arkansas will square off against Pine Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arkansas is facing Pine Bluff at the right time seeing as Pine Bluff is stuck on a 26-game losing streak. As for Hot Springs, they will take on White Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
