Basketball Recap: First Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

First Baptist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 95-27 loss at the hands of the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

First Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Baptist Academy will face off against Berean Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they will challenge King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. King's Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Christian Academy of Knoxville likes a good challenge.
