Corydon Central and Madison are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Panthers will challenge the Cubs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Corydon Central has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On the hitting side, Madison saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayden McKay, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run. Another was Garrett Deuser, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Corydon Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for Madison, their record now sits at 16-2.

Corydon Central might still be hurting after the 10-1 loss they got from Madison when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
