Softball Recap: Century Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Century took a 12-run defeat the last time they faced off against Winona, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers skirted past the Winhawks 4-3. Century's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Winona, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 4-1.
