Baseball Game Preview: Park View Patriots vs. Osbourn Eagles

Park View is 0-6 against Osbourn since April of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Patriots will face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Park View is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 27-0 to Potomac Falls.

Meanwhile, Osbourn scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Osbourn Park, falling 12-2. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Osbourn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lenell Evans, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Axel Acosta also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Park View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Osbourn, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Park View might still be hurting after the 21-4 defeat they got from Osbourn when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
