Baseball Recap: Bret Harte Comes Up Short

Bret Harte lost against Summerville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bullfrogs lost 7-1 to the Bears. The Bullfrogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bret Harte saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Camacho, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Bret Harte's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Summerville, their win bumped their record up to 7-10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bret Harte will host Riverbank at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bullfrogs are facing the Bruins at the right time seeing as the Bruins are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Summerville, they will be playing at home against Big Valley Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.64 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
