Weeki Wachee came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Lecanto, but Shawna Griffin wouldn't allow it. The Panthers took down the Hornets 53-35 on Tuesday thanks in part to Griffin, who posted 12 points along with six assists and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Weeki Wachee lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Genesis Beal, who had 13 points. Karly Pasmore was another key player, putting up eight points and five boards.

Lecanto now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Weeki Wachee, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Lecanto has already played their next contest, a 58-56 loss against Citrus on the 17th. Weeki Wachee and Pasco will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
