Basketball Recap: Caddo Comes Up Short

Caddo has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Wright City Lumberjax at home by a 67-51 margin on Monday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bruins came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Lumberjax are ranked 92nd).

It was another big night for Kase Lindly, who went 7 of 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 38 points and seven rebounds for Wright City. That makes it five consecutive games in which Lindly has scored at least a third of Wright City's points. Maddox Replogle was another key player, going 5 for 9 en route to 12 points along with five boards and five steals.

Caddo's loss dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Wright City, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Caddo has already played their next contest (against Hartshorne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wright City has already played their next game, a 57-46 win against Antlers on the 4th.
