Volleyball Recap: Wakeland Wolverines vs. Lovejoy Leopards
Wakeland had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Lovejoy Leopards on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
While Wakeland might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lovejoy scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21, 25-22.
Wakeland's offense was headlined by
Bella Wood and
Hannah Lee, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from
Sarah Pfiffner and her 19 assists.

Breanna Cagle kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
