Football Game Preview: Columbia Raiders vs. Clearview Clippers

Two dominant backs in Xavier Hendon and Kameron Williams are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Columbia Raiders will welcome the Clearview Clippers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbia will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

On Friday, Columbia didn't have too much trouble with Keystone as they won 21-7.

The critical scores for Columbia came from Jose Rivera, Hendon, and Jacob Reust.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Clearview against Oberlin on Friday as the team secured a 40-7 win. The Clippers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 30 points or more this season.

Clearview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Christian Stevenson and Braden Turner.

Clearview's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Columbia, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Columbia has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 265.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Clearview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 172.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Columbia didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Clearview when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 22-18 victory.
