Baseball Recap: San Marcos Comes Up Short

San Marcos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-4 to the Sprague Olympians.

San Marcos saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that Johnson hit this season.

San Marcos' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Sprague, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

San Marcos wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-5 victory against Lincoln on the 27th. As for Sprague, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Servite on the 27th.
