Soccer Recap: Iowa Colony Comes Up Short

If Iowa Colony was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Ball last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Iowa Colony Pioneers lost 4-0 to the Santa Fe Indians on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in January.

Iowa Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Santa Fe, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Iowa Colony is taking a road trip to challenge Angleton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Fe, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against La Porte at 7:30 p.m.
