There's no place like home for Baker County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Bradford Tornadoes on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-3 two weeks ago.

Baker County let Reese Taylor and Kaiden Burnsed run wild. Taylor scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Burnsed scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Burnsed has posted since back in February. Ryan Witherington was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

The victory snapped Baker County's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-9 record. As for Bradford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Baker County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Fernandina Beach on the 26th. As for Bradford, they have also already played their next game, a 15-4 win against Hamilton County on the 25th.
