Lincoln-Way East has gone 9-1 against Stagg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lincoln-Way East Griffins will host the Stagg Chargers at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Lincoln-Way East and 28 for Stagg dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Lincoln-Way East ended up a good deal behind Homewood-Flossmoor and lost 80-64. While losing is never fun, the Griffins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Vikings are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Stagg lost 58-37 to Lincoln-Way Central on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Chargers have suffered against the Knights since February 7, 2020.

Stagg's loss dropped their record down to 0-27. As for Lincoln-Way East, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-11.

Lincoln-Way East was able to grind out a solid win over Stagg in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 52-39. Will Lincoln-Way East repeat their success, or does Stagg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
