Messalonskee is 8-2 against Brunswick since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will challenge the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. Messalonskee is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Brunswick faced Mt. Ararat in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Dragons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2.

Brunswick saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lism Scholl, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Allan Swain also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Messalonskee's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Brunswick, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Messalonskee beat Brunswick 5-2 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
