Jaleen Gibson and Je'Sus Daniels secure win for Randolph-Clay

Recap: Randolph-Clay Red Devils vs. Terrell County Greenwave

The Randolph-Clay Red Devils waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They snuck past Terrell County with a 68-64 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Randolph-Clay was led to victory by Jaleen Gibson and Je'Sus Daniels. Gibson scored 14 points along with seven assists and five rebounds, while Daniels scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Daniels is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of NyQuavious White, who scored six points.

Terrell County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Shaheed Huckaby, who scored 19 points. Michael Carter was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.

Randolph-Clay has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Terrell County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randolph-Clay will take on Early County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Early County is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Terrell County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Miller County at 7:30 p.m. Miller County is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
