 The South Adams Starfires will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against the Lapel Bulldogs at 1:00  p.m. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (South Adams: 3.1, Lapel: 3.3) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
 South Adams is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Eastside out  4-3.
  Addie Baker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Sofia Schwartz, who  went 3-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Macy Pries, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Lapel gave their fans yet another huge  win on Tuesday. They blew past Madison-Grant 9-1. The  victory was familiar territory for Lapel who now have three in a row.
  Laylah Gore was a standout: she got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tatum Harper, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  stolen base.
 South Adams is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record  this season. As for Lapel, their win bumped their record up to 22-5.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. South Adams has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 6.9  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Lapel struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 6.7.
