Soccer Game Preview: Trivium vs. St. Bernard's Central Catholic

The Trivium Eagles will take on the St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Trivium and three for St. Bernard's Central Catholic.

Friday just wasn't the day for Trivium's offense. They came up short against Keefe Tech on Friday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Trivium can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 309th, while Keefe Tech are ranked 122nd).

Meanwhile, St. Bernard's Central Catholic also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 10-0 to Fitchburg on Friday.

St. Bernard's Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Trivium, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Trivium took their victory against St. Bernard's Central Catholic when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bernardians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
