Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. Greenbrier East Spartans
Princeton is 2-8 against Greenbrier East since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Princeton Tigers will be playing at home against the Greenbrier East Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Princeton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday.
Princeton entered their tilt with Oak Hill with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Princeton walked away with a 43-35 victory over Oak Hill.
Among those leading the charge was Maddie Stull, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stull has scored all season. Asia Collins was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Greenbrier East was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 57-51 to James Monroe. Greenbrier East has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Greenbrier East, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Princeton came out on top in a nail-biter against Greenbrier East when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 56-54. Will Princeton repeat their success, or does Greenbrier East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
