Volleyball Recap: Jacksonville Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Jacksonville Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Christ Covenant Spartans. The Conquerors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Brady Rice paced Jacksonville Christian Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Rice got some help from Joshua Barrientos and his 17 assists. Wyatt Kirby controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Jacksonville Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Christ Covenant, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Jacksonville Christian Academy nor Christ Covenant have any future games scheduled.
