Baseball Game Preview: Anderson Cubs vs. Lassen Grizzlies

Anderson is 1-9 against Lassen since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cubs will square off against the Grizzlies at 4:00 p.m. Anderson has given up an average of 9.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Anderson managed to slip by Central Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cubs lost 11-1 to the Falcons on Friday. The Cubs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Meanwhile, Lassen suffered their biggest defeat since April 3, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against University Prep, falling 12-4.

Connor Kirack made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Lassen's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Anderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Anderson suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Lassen when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can the Cubs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
