It's playoff time, and Heritage had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Wakeland Wolverines, posting an 87-57 win. The Coyotes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Heritage to victory were Cameron Lomax and Mikhail Patel. Lomax went 7-for-11 to rack up 21 points and four steals, while Patel went 10-for-16 on his way to 22 points and six boards. Lomax is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in each of the last 15 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Shelton, who posted ten points and seven assists.

Heritage was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Heritage has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season. As for Wakeland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-13.

Coming up, Heritage will face off against Walnut Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Walnut Grove sitting on seven straight victories and Heritage on 13. Wakeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
