California is 8-1 against Whittier since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Condors will challenge the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. Whittier took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on California, who comes in off a win.

California barely beat La Serna the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Condors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lancers on Tuesday. The Condors not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4th.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Whittier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Santa Fe.

Whittier's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for California, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-15.

Everything went California's way against Whittier when the teams last played two weeks ago, as California made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Condors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
