Volleyball Recap: Ethan Tetzel Key Part of Team Effort in Eagles Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Oldham, Scott was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Collins Titans.

The victory didn't come easy: Collins scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Scott's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Tetzel, who had 35 digs and four assists. Those 35 digs gave Tetzel a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maxwell Egersdorfer, who had 14 digs, six kills, and three aces.

Scott was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They are 3-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Scott's win bumped their record up to 5-12-1. As for Collins, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Scott will head out to challenge Sycamore at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Collins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
