Baseball Game Preview: Bendle Tigers vs. Genesee Wolves

Bendle is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Monday. They will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Genesee Wolves at 4:30 p.m. Bendle will be strutting in after a victory while Genesee will be coming in after a defeat.

Bendle proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 23) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy 4-2.

Alex Rodriguez was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. Juma Mkakile was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Genesee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 8-1 to Durand.

Bendle's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Genesee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Bendle took their victory against Genesee in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
