Basketball Recap: Greene Takes a Loss

Greene has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-33 heartbreaker at the hands of the Delaware Academy Bulldogs. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 40-29.

When it comes to explaining why Greene lost on Saturday, don't look at Josie Dutcher. Despite the final result, she went 6-for-11 to rack up 13 points and five boards.

Greene's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Delaware Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Greene does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Delaware Academy, they and Union Springs will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
