Christoval waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Miles Bulldogs.

Ty Debusk made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jace Cobb, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kolter Fulk, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Christoval kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive matchups.

Christoval pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Miles, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Christoval will challenge Colorado at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Miles, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coleman at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th.
