Basketball Game Preview: Cleburne County Tigers vs. Cherokee County Warriors

Cleburne County hasn't had much luck against Cherokee County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cleburne County Tigers will challenge the Cherokee County Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Cherokee County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Cleburne County, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Cleburne County turned things around against Munford on Friday. They skirted past the Lions 31-29.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Cherokee County's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Sand Rock by a score of 46-43.

Cherokee County's loss dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Cleburne County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Cleburne County took a serious blow against Cherokee County when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 76-21. Can Cleburne County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
