Football Recap: Upper Merion Area Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lower Merion

Upper Merion Area had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 21-20 to the Lower Merion Aces. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upper Merion Area will welcome Wissahickon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lower Merion, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Ridley at 1:00 p.m. The contest will give the Aces their first taste of in-conference action this season.
