Basketball Recap: Northeastern Takes a Loss

Northeastern lost against Dixie back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jets came up short against the Greyhounds, falling 37-13.

Annalee Williams was Northeastern's leading scorer, having posted four points. Taylor Lawhun held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Dixie, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Northeastern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 34-21 loss against West Jefferson on the 3rd. As for Dixie, they have also already played their next game, a 62-29 defeat against Milton-Union on the 1st.
