Soccer Game Preview: Forge Christian vs. Bennett

The Forge Christian Fury will take on the Bennett Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Forge Christian is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Colorado Academy two weeks ago. The Fury fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0. Wyatt Arter was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bennett walked away with it. They beat the Danes by a goal, winning 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Bennett sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

They hit Fountain Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jesus Santoyo, Houston Broskie, and Blake Gonzalez.

Forge Christian's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-5-4. As for Bennett, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4-2.
