Basketball Recap: Hampden's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Hampden won the last time they faced Brewer and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hampden Broncos took down the Brewer Witches 54-40.

Hampden's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4. As for Brewer, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampden will head out to square off against Messalonskee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hampden has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Brewer, they will head out on the road to challenge Cony at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cony will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Brewer surely won't give up without a fight.
