Soccer Game Preview: Calallen vs. London

The Calallen Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the London Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Calallen sitting on seven straight victories and London on 15.

Calallen's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Tuloso-Midway with a sharp 4-0 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, London got the win against King on Friday by a conclusive 10-0. Mazey Holt was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

London pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those six contests. As for Calallen, their win bumped their record up to 13-7-1.

Calallen suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to London in their previous meeting back in February. Can Calallen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
