Volleyball Recap: Campolindo Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Campolindo challenged Desert Ridge on Saturday. The Cougars fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 1-0.

Olivia Britton paced Campolindo's offense, picking up three kills. Britton got some help from Amelia Knutson and her six assists.

Campolindo's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Desert Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Campolindo will square off against Northgate at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Desert Ridge, after both having extra time off, they and Queen Creek will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on October 14.
