Hillcrest had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Greenwood on Tuesday. The Rams put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.

Hillcrest never let Greenwood on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-15.

Leading Hillcrest to victory were Carleigh Pace and Addison Nelson. Pace had 11 digs, while Nelson had 19 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Pace has posted since back in November of 2024. Carly Heubner also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Hillcrest's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Greenwood, they dropped their record down to 6-16 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
