Gull Lake had lost nine straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 2-8 to make it ten. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Otsego Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 on Monday.

As for Otsego, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games.

For Otsego's part, they let Audrey Lingbeek and Emma Zimmerman run wild. Lingbeek got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs, while Zimmerman went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those RBI marked the first that Zimmerman has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Lucas, who went 1-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
