Soccer Recap: Buckeye Valley Takes a Loss

Buckeye Valley's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Worthington Christian Warriors. One thing that didn't help Buckeye Valley's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Vander Webb.

Cristian Martinez and Webb scored both of Buckeye Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Buckeye Valley and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Worthington Christian, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Buckeye Valley will challenge Grandview Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Worthington Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bishop Ready at 7:15 p.m. on September 13.
