Volleyball Recap: NELA Christian Homeschool Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Kailyn Whorton and Annaleigh Clark

NELA Christian Homeschool lost against Acadiana Christian back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Flame came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The Flame have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Annaleigh Clark and Kailyn Whorton certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Clark had 14 digs and 11 assists, while Whorton had 12 digs.

NELA Christian Homeschool now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Acadiana Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. NELA Christian Homeschool will face off against rival John Paul the Great Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Acadiana Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Christian Academy of Louisiana at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
