Volleyball Recap: Atlas Preparatory School Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Atlas Preparatory School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Sierra Stallions, falling 3-0. The Gryphons were not able to make up for their loss to the Stallions from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Atlas Preparatory School may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 19 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-19.

Sierra was led to victory by Chelsea Rodriguez Mendoza and Psalm Mobley White. Rodriguez Mendoza had six digs and four aces, while Mobley White had three digs.

Atlas Preparatory School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sierra, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Atlas Preparatory School has already played their next match (against Cripple Creek-Victor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sierra, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Widefield on the 16th.
