Baseball Recap: Williams Field Comes Up Short

Williams Field managed to slip by Highland the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Black Hawks lost 10-1 to the Hawks on Thursday. The Black Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 7-5.

Williams Field saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Silas Stephens, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Williams Field's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Highland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Williams Field didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Kellis on the 28th. As for Highland, they have also already played their next game, a 13-5 win against Valley Vista on the 28th.
