 Hickory has been on the road for three straight, but  on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the St. Stephens Indians at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hickory will be strutting in after a  win while St. Stephens will be coming in after a  loss.
 Last Tuesday,  it was close, but  Hickory sidestepped North Iredell for  a  5-4 victory.
 Hickory saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Matthew Lefevers, who  went 1-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Brady Stober, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, St. Stephens came up short against East Lincoln on Tuesday and fell  6-2. St. Stephens has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Even though they lost, St. Stephens  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 12  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Lincoln only tossed two.
 Hickory is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-11 record  this season. As for St. Stephens, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 9-6.
