Volleyball Recap: Howard Comes Up Short

Howard lost against Westside back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies fell just short of the Seminoles by a score of 2-1. While the Huskies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Seminoles 25-13 in the first set.

Howard actually scored more points across those three sets (57-53), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-22, 15-10.

Howard's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Howard will square off against Rutland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westside, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Mary Persons on the 7th.
