Lennox Academy and Archer School for Girls are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. Lennox Academy has given up an average of 13 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Lennox Academy managed to slip by Hawthorne the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Lennox Academy lost 17-9 to Hawthorne on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valerie Lozano-Prado made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-3. That hit was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Olmos, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Archer School for Girls never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 17-0 margin over Immaculate Heart. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Not much got past Arianna Borstein, who gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks to keep Immaculate Heart off the board.

The victory made it two in a row for Archer School for Girls and bumps their season record up to 3-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 16 runs. As for Lennox Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything went Lennox Academy's way against Archer School for Girls when the teams last played back in April of 2023, as Lennox Academy made off with a 22-6 win. Will Lennox Academy repeat their success, or does Archer School for Girls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
