Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Grandview Eagles a 15-0 shutout on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Blue Jays as they're now sitting on four straight.

Jefferson pushed their record up to 11-9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Grandview, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Clair at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Blue Jays' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
