Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Blanchard). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Classen SAS Comets a 23-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Parker Jackson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits over 4.1 innings pitched.
