Clarksville faced Rossview in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 13-3 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won 20 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Clarksville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Rossview, their loss dropped their record down to 30-6-1.

Looking ahead, Clarksville will host Houston on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 3.2, the Mustangs 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
