Several Flames players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mariah Azua, who had 13 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Davalle, who had nine digs.
Even though they lost, Lodi was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 12 consecutive games.
Lodi's loss dropped their record down to 21-8. As for Granite Bay, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-17.
Lodi does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granite Bay, they will face off against Vacaville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vacaville is coming into the matchup with seven straight victories on the road, so Granite Bay will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
