Southeast skates past West with ease

Recap: Southeast Golden Buffalo vs. West Pioneers

The Southeast Golden Buffalo won the last time they faced the West Pioneers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Southeast claimed a resounding 49-9 victory over the Pioneers at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Southeast.

Southeast got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Leela Jones out in front who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alana Webb, who scored 17 points along with two steals.

Southeast's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for West, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.

Southeast will be playing in front of their home fans against the RedHawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West, they will head out on the road to challenge the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
