Davie is 9-0-1 against Parkland since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The War Eagles will look to defend their home pitch against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Davie is headed into Wednesday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They lost 5-0 to West Forsyth on Monday. Kate Chaffin was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Meanwhile, Parkland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They came up short against Reagan, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Parkland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 431st, while Reagan are ranked 213th).

Davie's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-3. As for Parkland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.

Davie took their win against Parkland when the teams last played on April 2nd by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the War Eagles repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
